L2 Structures recently completed a challenging project for BlueOval SK's Battery Park in Kentucky. We installed an L2 Pro+ Series tent structure with minimal notice to secure and house pre-production equipment for the plant's 24-month development phase. We expanded the tent size to include extra storage space and installed custom gables at the customer's request, allowing for large semi-truck clearance. Throughout the process, we prioritized safety, ensuring a smooth and prompt installation.
We have decades of combined experience with hundreds of standard and unique installations. You'll work directly with the most knowledgeable staff in the tent structure industry.
Our fully engineered structures protect what's important to you from the elements and meet the local building code for wind and snow.
L2 Structures offers a full turnkey service for all clients from concept to completion, including permitting. Our nationwide installers and project managers are always reachable when needed.
Whether you need a 100,000 sq. ft. of storage space with industrial lighting or a 25,000 sq. ft. breakroom with flooring and HVAC, we provide the tent plus accessories needed. We are often available within the same week for a quick solution.
Our client required a speedy installation, and we delivered with lightning-fast response and installation time - just one week from contract signing to installation. However, during the installation, the customer requested an additional 66' of storage space. We quickly adapted to the situation, returning to the site and expanding the tent from 164' x 197' to 164' x 263', totaling 43,132 sq. ft.
Moreover, the customer required a tent to accommodate a semi-truck clearance of at least 13.6'. While our standard tent gables provide only 13' clearance, we built custom gables for all four access points on the tent to raise the clearance height from 13' to 13.6' to accommodate oversized loads.
As a high-safety site, we completed site-specific safety orientation, submitted a lift plan, performed pre-task plans, and complied with additional personal protective equipment (PPE) standards. For the installation, we had trusted OSHA 30 certified contractors on-site and a skilled operating crew, ensuring a safe and productive working environment.
